Chelsea’s Levi Colwill gives five-word response to Liverpool question after honest transfer admission

Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has not dismissed rumors linking him to Liverpool, as he declined to address the speculation during a recent Instagram live session.

The 20-year-old, who is currently under contract with Chelsea until 2025, with a possible extension, has attracted attention following his impressive performances for England’s under-21 team in the European Championship.

Liverpool has reportedly shown interest in Colwill, while Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino plans to discuss the player’s future upon his return from vacation.

Despite being on a break, Colwill’s recent remarks on Instagram have fueled excitement among fans of both clubs.

During the Instagram live session, Colwill was urged by a friend to provide some insight into his future plans. He responded by saying:

“Even my Jamaican bredrens [mates] are saying Levi to Liverpool.” To which the Chelsea defender replied: “[I] said no football talk, man.”

In recent days, Colwill has been repeatedly questioned about his future at Chelsea. Following England’s victory over Spain in the under-21s final, where Curtis Jones, a midfielder from Liverpool, scored the winning goal, Colwill commented: “I’ll speak to my family, speak to everyone I need to and make a decision.

“I’ve got to play at the end of the day to hopefully get there [England senior team] and go to the next camp.”
