Dusan Vlahovic deal, Robert Sanchez signs: Chelsea can build dream XI with £69m double transfer

Mauricio Pochettino has the opportunity to construct an ideal starting lineup for Chelsea by acquiring Dusan Vlahovic and Robert Sanchez. Both players have been strongly linked with moves to Stamford Bridge in the current transfer window, as the Blues aim to strengthen their options at both ends of the field.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has renewed their interest in signing the Juventus striker and has re-entered negotiations with the club through intermediaries. The possibility of a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku has been discussed again, but Juventus is adamant about negotiating directly with the Belgian player.

For the potential swap deal to materialize, Chelsea may also need to pay Juventus a fee for Vlahovic, who was initially overlooked earlier in the summer. Additionally, there’s news that Chelsea has made an offer for Brighton’s goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, as they look to further reinforce their squad.

Amidst an uncertain future at the Amex Stadium, the 25-year-old goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, has been out of favor under Roberto De Zerbi. Considering his surplus status at Brighton and Mauricio Pochettino’s desire to bring in competition for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Chelsea has made an offer for Sanchez.

Assuming Pochettino successfully acquires Dusan Vlahovic and Robert Sanchez, who may come with a combined price tag of £68.5 million, SoccerDailyUk has envisioned how the Blues could line up against Liverpool.

Pochettino is renowned for his straightforward approach to football. Throughout his career, he has often favored a 4-2-3-1 formation, which transforms into a 4-3-3 during offensive play and a 4-4-2 during defensive phases.

Despite occasional displays of outstanding talent, Kepa has faced difficulties in making a lasting impact since his high-priced transfer to Chelsea a few years ago. Despite this, he is still considered the club’s primary goalkeeper. However, with Edouard Mendy’s departure, Pochettino is now searching for a suitable backup option and has shown interest in Sanchez to fill the role.

This season, the left-back position is expected to be occupied by Ben Chilwell, while Reece James will likely take up the right-back position. As for the center-half roles, Pochettino has a plethora of choices available, but it seems he will opt for Levi Colwill and Thiago Silva in those positions.

If Chelsea decides to pair Enzo Fernandez with Lesley Ugochukwu, it would enable the Argentine to take on the No.8 role successfully. The two could form a double pivot and play behind Christopher Nkunku, who is expected to support either Nicolas Jackson or Vlahovic as the main striker.

In terms of the wingers, Mykhailo Mudryk is likely to be deployed on the left to provide an attacking outlet. On the right-wing, Noni Madueke is a strong candidate, but the experience of Raheem Sterling could prove to be immensely valuable for the team.

Indeed, Chelsea has been in search of a dynamic striker to fill the void left by iconic players like Didier Drogba and Diego Costa.

Despite some relative success with Olivier Giroud, they have not found a long-term solution.

Next season, Pochettino will have Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja available in the striker position.

However, if they manage to acquire Vlahovic, it could significantly bolster their attacking prowess. With the addition of Vlahovic to the squad, Chelsea could become a formidable force to reckon with in the upcoming season.

Robert Sanchez; Ben Chilwell, Levi Colwill, Thiago Silva, Reece James; Enzo Fernandez, Lesley Ugochukwu; Mykhailo Mudryk, Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke; Dusan Vlahovic.
