Man Utd Secures €40m Sofyan Amrabat After Rejecting Liverpool

Sofyan Amrabat has reportedly denied a move to Liverpool in favor of a move to Manchester United, with a transfer to Old Trafford reportedly imminent.

The Reds are interested in both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, as Jurgen Klopp’s squad requires a new No. 6 player.

With the destinies of both midfielders uncertain, Alfredo Pedulla, a respected journalist, told MUFC Realist TV that Liverpool also considered signing Amrabat.

Despite Liverpool’s offer, United have reached an agreement with the 26-year-old player over personal terms worth £75,000 per week.

Bayern Munich and the Saudi Pro League were also interested in the €40 million (£34 million) midfielder.

Liverpool is working diligently to rebuild its midfield.

Before the Premier League transfer window concludes at the beginning of September, Jurgen Klopp hopes to add more talent to his midfield.

Despite agreeing to a record £111 million proposal for Moises Caicedo with Brighton, the saga has yet to reach a conclusion. Today, Chelsea hosts Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in a battle that is part of a larger conflict between the two teams.

Romeo Lavia has been used as a pawn in Chelsea and Liverpool’s transfer chess game. With the Reds refusing to withdraw their proposal, the Blues are under pressure to match or exceed it.

Chelsea and Southampton have also agreed on a transfer fee for Lavia, but the Belgian midfielder prefers to join Liverpool.
