Mohamed Salah Signals Readiness to Join Ittihad Jeddah

According to reports, Mohamed Salah has authorized Ittihad Jeddah to initiate talks with Liverpool regarding a possible summer transfer.

After exiting the Arab Cup, Ittihad Jeddah are rumored to be keen to make an offer for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, according to recent reports.

According to Arriyadiyah, the Tigers are interested in submitting a £60 million offer for Salah, which would result in the Egyptian earning £180 million over the course of just two seasons.

Despite the lucrative offer, Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas has reassured Liverpool supporters that Mohamed Salah will not be leaving the club, and the Egyptian started the season opener against Chelsea.

However, on Monday morning, the trend ‘#مطلب_الاتحاديين_صلاح‘, which translates to ‘Ittihad supporters want Salah,’ went viral as rivals Al-Hilal completed the signing of Neymar from PSG.

The vice president of Ittihad Jeddah, Ahmad Essam Kaaki, began following Mohamed Salah on Instagram minutes later to add fuel to the fire.

According to reports, Mohamed Salah is open to making the move to Saudi Arabia, making him the latest superstar to do so.

Alkass, a prominent Qatari news outlet, reported that the Egyptian has authorized Ittihad Jeddah to negotiate with Liverpool.

Egyptian journalist Ahmed Shobier had previously revealed that Salah’s position on the move to Saudi Arabia could be altered by developments in the coming days.

Mohamed Salah inked a new three-year contract worth approximately £350,000 per week with Liverpool in July 2022.
