Manchester United appear ready to compete with Chelsea in their efforts to sign Moises Caicedo this summer. The 21-year-old midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently, but Manchester United could potentially disrupt the transfer.

According to information from, Arsenal attempted to sign Caicedo in January, making two offers that were quickly turned down. Despite expressing a desire to leave, Caicedo later signed a contract extension a few months later, committing himself to the Amex Stadium until 2027.

Initially, it seemed that his new contract would prevent a transfer in the near future.
